Now on sports...BREAKING: Arsenal target signs..Latest Arsenal transfer news on 11th August 2013
Reports on the Sky Sports website has revealed that Arsenal target,
Diego Costa has extended his contract with the Spanish side.
Diego Costa, who plays for Athletico Madrid has been a target for
Arsenal and Liverpool this summer but Liverpool manager, Brendan
Rodgers has confirmed it that the striker has renewed his contract
with Madrid.
"I believe Costa has signed an extension. There's nothing in terms of
players to add.
"We've signed players early on and we hope to sign some more before
the end of the window. In the meantime, there's nothing at the
minute."

There has also been some news on the Metro website claiming that
Arsenal are set to make Luiz Suarez of Liverpool the highest paid
player in the club's history.
Luiz Suarez has been Arsenal's main priority signing this summer, but
have seen two bids rejected by Liverpool as the Reds remain adamant on
selling their top man.
Reports claim that the Gunners are ready to offer the Uruguayan a four
year contract worth £160,000 per week making him the highest paid
player in Arsenal's history.
The question now is that will Liverpool let him go?
Arsenal boss has revealed that he hasn't given up on Luiz Suarez
despite the circumstances surrounding the player as he looks to add
more players to the squad.
"We want to play 55 games thisseason and I think we are a little bit
thin squad-wise.
"I also haven't given up hope on Suarez. If I read what people are
saying about him, then maybe I would give up. But we will do it the
right way.
"I am an optimist. That's why I do this job. We have kept the squad
together for the first time in many years so I am happy."
