FUTO Post-UTME day1....the view of the students

The Federal University Of Technology Owerri, FUTO, yesterday kicked off their post utme exam in some department in School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, SEET. The university had in advance informed that the examination is to start by 8.00am, thereby converging all the applicants as early as 7.30am with readiness for the exercise. However, what happened at FUTO yesterday shows that the University itself has failed their candidates by starting the exam by 3.30pm. Many parents came with their children and they were not happy with the school system of exam and time keeping as all of them were under the sun waiting for their kid(s)till about 4.30pm. A student (who has stomach ulcer) was also reported to have nearly escaped death in his exam hall due to hunger, He did not eat because He think that the exam was to start by 8am as FUTO said.
